Planning to pick up your vehicle in person? Our team can help facilitate rides to the store from your arrival point.
We can also make suggestions on hotels, restaurants, and activities to enjoy while you’re in the area.
Shipping Your Purchase
The McLoughlin Chevrolet team can help assist with transportation of your new vehicle through U-Ship, or other transport hubs. If you finance through one of our lenders we can even help facilitate the shipment.
Are there any other considerations to keep in mind?
SALES TAX
You will normally pay sales tax on your newly purchased vehicle in the state you register it, not where it is purchased. Make sure you check with your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles before finalizing your purchase to make sure you understand the state’s sales tax policy.
REGISTRATION
If you’re planning to drive your new car, truck, or SUV home we will help provide a temporary registration which will allow you to drive your vehicle until you finalize the registration
EMISSIONS
Our staff is here to help with any DMV related questions but you will also want to make sure you understand your state’s requirements. You will be responsible for any emission testing or certification needed to complete the registration in your home state.
